Bully Breeds

Initially, they were used as circus dogs, in bloody battles against Bulls, where they got to their prey and did not let them go despite the injuries or blows they could get. That is why breeders looked for resistant animals, with big heads and strong jaws and small bodies in comparison.

In this breed group is included the Boxer, the Bull Dog, and the Bull Terrier and of course all breeds like “Pitbull”.

American Pitbull, American Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier and American Bully.

These are breeds with a lot in common, and they may usually be confused. The Staffordshire bull terrier is the breed where the other three come from. Originally from Great Britain –Staffordshire County- is the smallest one with an average weight of 15kg, and it was brought up as a fighting dog. In the United States, breeders developed some bigger varieties.

The American Bully is the most recent variety, very hefty, with a bigger head and shorter legs.
